In 2009, GCK organized a Foot March in 25 villages of the Chatra district. This was initiated to aware the people, on the issue of social dignity of the Dalit community.

Through this march, the campaign team stayed for two hours in a village and talked to the people and told the Dalit community about their rights. They sensitized the people to fight for their social dignity. And asked questions, like Why aren’t they spending an equal life like other communities? Why their children can’t access better education and better health facilities. This foot march was a part of advocacy.
